About Maeyen

Maeyen Bassey is a two-time Emmy Award nominee who amplifies stories that inspire and celebrate unapologetic changemakers. She has Directed projects for ESPN, Amazon Prime Video, BBC Films, and MasterClass.com, and she has produced and Directed the likes of Neil Degrasse Tyson, Angela Davis, Deion Sanders, Amanda Gorman, Marsai Martin, Nikole Hannah Jones, and Cornel West. In addition to long-form works, Maeyen has also Directed and produced branded projects and commercials for major companies, including Nissan, Walmart, JetBlue, and Microsoft. Her films have received awards and commendations, including from the Telly Awards, Webby Awards, The Ford Foundation, Women In Film, Disney, the Alliance of Women Directors, the PGA, and the DGA (AICP/CDDP).
